Hi! My name is Rachel and I’m an indie author who writes different genres under different pen names. Some of you may recognize me as Christine Layne, the friendly, neighborhood smut writer. Others may know my alternate ego, RC Lehan.

I began my writing journey in 2020 after dealing with a wakeful baby for close to ten months. During those wee hours of the night, I began telling myself stories to keep myself occupied. Little did I know, I was developing characters and building worlds. After almost a year, I decided to write it down and voila! I became an author.

My first book, Because of Blake, was published in June of 2023, and I haven’t stopped since. Christine and RC have been hard at work and have no plans on stopping any time soon.

I live in Colorado (which is also where my stories are all set) with my husband and two sons. We’re a busy household between school, activities, and trying to have a life, I don’t even know where I get the time to write! But I find the time because I love writing. I love telling stories and it’s an amazing feeling to see words on a page that were once only in my head.

I hope that you’ll pick up one of my books and give it a chance. The stories are all dear to my heart, and it’s my dream to have at least one person love them as much as I do!
